Combination tight head drums are made of two different materials: sheet steel on the outside and a plastic inner container or plastic lining on the inside.
Combination packaging comes into play whenever filling media are compatible with plastic but not with sheet steel in direct contact - yet sheet steel with corresponding hazardous goods approvals must be used for reasons of dangerous goods legislation.
These sheet steel composite cans are available with hazardous goods approval.
